Remembering The Date

Namaskar!

We SuSyd (Sushmita and Siddhartha), are a happily married couple from Pokhara Nepal who are excited to share our memories and moments from our special occasions with you. We met in Sydney Australia in 2019, and since then, we’ve been inseparable. We tied the knot on 26th Jan 2023 (culturally)  in the presence of our loved ones and it was the most beautiful day of our lives.

We created this website to express our gratitude to everyone who supported and loved us throughout our journey. The moments we share here will be that we will cherish for the rest of our lives. It is a story of two people from the same hometown who found each other in a foreign land and fell in love. We feel so blessed to have found each other and to have built a life filled with love, laughter, happiness, and more happiness.

On this website, you will find moments in the form of photos and videos from our pre-wedding, engagement, mehendi, wedding, post-wedding, and reception programs as well as our personal stories and memories. We hope to spread love and inspiration for all who are on their own journey of love and happiness. Thank you for joining us on this journey, and we hope you enjoy the ride!

Our Love Story

Made the Decision

Got Married

Our Love Story is one that we will cherish for the rest of our lives. Love, at first sight, occurred in the Vibrant City of Sydney in September 2019 as fate would have it, we both happened to be there at the same time. We didn’t know each other then, but little did we know that our paths were about to cross ;). After a couple of days, we met by chance where our eyes met, and both of us felt an instant connection. We struck up a conversation and realized that we had a lot in common then exchanged our social media platform Instagram.

As we started talking every day, we got to know each other, our feelings for each other grew stronger, and we found something special in each other. On November 17th, 2019, we decided to take the next step and became a couple, and we never looked back. Even though we both came from the same hometown of Pokhara Nepal, it took us to travel halfway across the world to find each other.

We travelled to many places and experienced many things together. Each thing we do made our bond stronger, and we made unforgettable memories that we will treasure for a lifetime.

As our relationship blossomed even more, I knew that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with Sushmita. So, one day while we were visiting the Sunshine State Queensland, I got down on one knee and asked Sushmita to marry me. It was a magical moment, and I still remember the look of joy and surprise on her face when she said the Biggest YES in her life.

We decided to take the next step in our relationship and get married. On January 26th, 2023, we tied the knot in a beautiful ceremony in Pokhara surrounded by our parents, families, friends, and loved ones. It was the most special day of our lives, and we felt truly blessed to have found each other.

Looking back on our love story, we know that it was destiny that brought us together. Despite being from the same hometown, we had never met before. It was as if the universe had brought us together in a foreign land to find each other. We feel so lucky to have found each other and to have built a life filled with love, laughter, and happiness. We can’t wait to see what the future holds for us and are excited to continue making beautiful memories together.

And just like James Arthur said “ I wanna live with you Even when we’re ghosts “, that's what we feel for each other.
